We just got the following message and note from Lindsey deHackbeil of the University of Oregon.  Thanks for sending the photos!

Hi Jenni,
I promised you I would send you some pictures of our new costumes! We had our first performance as a whole team yesterday and we got some great pictures of the dresses. I attached two pictures. We’re also wearing earrings from The Line Up but you can’t see them very well in these pictures. I will be sure to send you pictures of the black crop tops once we have worn them as a team!

Gretchen Bretz, Director of the Missouri Mavericks Filly’s Dance Team, enlisted these future designers for some inspiration. Gretchen was coloring blank sketches that The Line Up illustrated for her upcoming team’s uniform.  When the neighborhood kids saw this, they couldn’t wait to help! Vikings Cheerleaders TryoutsOn Wednesday, April 28th, 58 talented and beautiful women will be auditioning to become a Minnesota Vikings Cheerleader.  The event will be in held front of a live audience in the Rotunda at the Mall of America.  Auditions begin at 6:30.  Come check out all the fashionable tryout apparel made by The Line Up and cheer for your favorite candidates.  Good luck ladies!

Going for NDA #12

Congratulations to Towson University’s Dance Team!   April’s issue of Dance Spirit featured the 11 time NDA Champions on the cover of their magazine!   The Line Up is proud to have created the official uniforms worn in each of these championships. We would like to wish Towson Dance Team and their coach Tom Cascella the best of luck this April as they fight to defend their NDA title and go for a 12th Championship! 

A special note to Tom from Deb, Lindsey and all of us at The Line Up:  We feel very privileged to create your team apparel.  Thank you so much for including us in your success.

Kelsey Zimba Competes in Oscar ‘Designer Challenge’

Be sure to watch the ’Designers Challenge’ this Sunday.  Kelsey Zimba is one of nine designers competing to have their gown selected to be worn at the Oscars!   The winner will be announced LIVE during the Oscars Pre-Show. 

Wow, we are so excited for you Kesley!  All of us at The Line Up feel so fortunate to have watched you grow and develop as a designer.  You are proof that hard work and dedication are elements to success. 

For those of you that do not know Kelsey, she is from Minnesota.  Kelsey has always been determined and passionate about a career in fashion design.  While attending Minnetonka High School she took private sewing lessons and participated in a mentor program which included working at The Line Up.  After graduating, she she was accepted to FIT in New York.  Throughout college she often returned home for the summers, sharing her talents as a part time employee at The Line Up.   She currently lives and works in New York persuing her dreams.

Pro Bowl in Miami

Miami Dolphins New Uniform

The Miami Dolphins are hosting the 2010 Pro Bowl and Super Bowl.  We are getting ready to ship new costumes to the Dolphins Cheerleaders. 

Watch for the upcoming Pro Bowl events this week.  The Pro Bowl Cheerleaders will be wearing garments made by The Line Up for a swim suit fashion show and the ‘Battle of the Beauties’.
