Do you have any costumes you purchased from The Line Up in great condition that you are not using anymore? Then we would love to help you sell them to a new team! Costume resale is a platform we have designed that makes it easy to buy or sell pre-purchased team/group costumes that were bought through The Line Up. You can purchase these costumes on-line under “Costume Resale”. You can sell your teams costumes by contacting our Office Administrator Jen locally at 952.829.7819, toll free at 1.888.454.6387, or e-mail at jen@thelineup.net. She would be happy to answer any questions you may have. We have also included some of our most frequently asked questions to assist in making the process as clear and simple as possible.
Question: Is this a buyback program? (Meaning, is The Line Up going to be re-buying your costumes back from you?)
Answer: No. We are creating a space were our valued customers can advertise, and market their much loved costumes from The Line Up for resale.
Questions: If I purchased something from the costume resale department, may I try to re-sell them for the second time on the resale page?
Answer: No. Once a costume is purchased from the resale page we will not be able to sell it again through our costume resale program.
Question: How long will the items be advertised on the website?
Answer: We will display the costumes on our costume resale page for one year. If the costumes do not sell within that one year time frame we can relist it on our website for a $35.00 re-list fee.
Question: What percentage of the selling price do I get back?
Answer: The seller will receive 80% of the selling price. The only time more is taken out of this percentage is if The Line Up needs to wash, or repair the costumes before they are sold. Those costs will always be explained to the seller before their garments are posted online.
Question: Can I return the items if they do not fit?
Answer: No. Unfortunately, we do not except returns, or refunds for these garments. All sales are final.
Question: What is the quality of these items?
Answer: The Line Up will only sell items that are up to our usual high quality standard. If any of these costumes are not up to standard we will be very honest about the condition, and the wear of the costumes.
Question: If you are selling 21 resale costumes and I need 25, can I have The Line Up make the other 4 costumes?
Answer: If all fabrics are still available we would love to recreate the costume! Please contact Jen and she can work with your Account Coordinator to see if re-making the garment you’re interested in is a possibility. She can also provide you with pricing for the new costumes being made as they will cost the full price of making the garment, not the re-sale price.
